Hi,

I guess I should introduce myself. No need for personal details - my words speak for themselves, and any further information that I divulge about myself will only lead to ad hominem attacks, as experience tells me. I will say that I am primarily a PS3 and a Wii gamer. What of the 360? I respect it as a gaming console, but feel that the PS3 makes owning a 360 redundant. I might elaborate further over the course of my posts. And no, I am not associated with Sony in any direct or indirect manner.

What motivates me to create this blog? Maybe it is displeasure at the internet media and the blogging community for misrepresenting the PS3 console, at every given opportunity. Most of it is unfair (despite proclamations to otherwise). At least some are encouraged by the cheap need to generate web hits. Some made up their minds before they honestly considered the merits of the PS3 console. Who knows if there could be other incentives for bagging Sony? Nonetheless, Microsoft's usual trick bag of negative campaigning seems to have worked to some extent - they even managed to create a group of people who think it is acceptable for their own consoles to break down regularly.

Thus, this blog will be a one-sided commentary (no pretenses) in response to "news" that the internet brings - it isn't meant to replace the myriad of PS3 news sites out there. "News" also includes blu-ray stuff, since it is loved by PS3. This blog will hopefully provide a perspective that is admittedly not popular at the moment among certain groups, but one which is a necessary part of the whole picture.

I look forward to you reading my future posts, dear reader. See you later.
